Andy is one of the two Elders of the church, heading the preaching and teaching ministry and dealing with much of the day-to-day administration of the church. He is married to Rachel with one son, Tom who has now left university and is married with a dog, a cat and a mortgage. After a number of years in the electronic design industry, Andy is now in full time Christian ministry, divided roughly half-and-half between Eldership at the Chapel and ministry as a chaplain at HMP Guys Marsh near Shaftesbury and HMP/YOI Portland and HMP The Verne, both on the Isle of Portland. Having completed his training with the Southern Counties Baptist Association through the Footsteps Course, Andy is recognised as RRL (a Regionally Recognised Leader) under the authority and supervision of the Association. |
